A heat distribution unit is a component of the energy system in your home that includes at least one heat exchanger. The heat distribution unit facilitates the energy transfer between the central system and the installation in the home. Distribution units come in various types and sizes. They are usually installed in the meter cupboard or technical room of a home. From the distribution unit, pipes lead to systems such as underfloor heating or a tap water point for (hot) water.
