The Urban Woods Delft has officially welcomed its first residents into the tallest timber residential tower in the Netherlands. A nine‑storey building crafted entirely from biobased and recycled materials, designed for a new way of living.

The Day of Construction is the moment each year when the Netherlands gets a rare look behind the fences of projects that are normally closed to the public.

Sometimes you only truly see a building come to life when you look behind the scenes. During our recent site inspection at EDGE in Eindhoven, the focus was on the ATES system: the wells, piping and technical infrastructure that will soon provide heating, cooling and domestic hot water.

On Wednesday 13 May, the heating and cooling system for Spoorzone Delft was commissioned. The area is developing into a new residential and care cluster, featuring 67 rental apartments for housing association Woonbron and a 9,000 m² care building for care provider Pieter van Foreest.

It’s official: the contracts for Victoria have been signed. Vaanster will provide the heating and cooling solution for this striking new development in the heart of Tilburg. A project we are proud to support under our name.

Over the past few months, our new office has undergone a major transformation and the result speaks for itself.

Four buildings. One central energy system. With the connection of Concerto and Duetto di Ensemble, all 170 homes on the Bossebaan in Veldhoven are now fully powered by an air‑based heating and cooling system.

Good news from Hoofddorp: as of January, Vaanster has taken over the operation of the ATES system at The Green Office. We now supply heating and cooling to all users within this 16,000 m² office building.

Construction of The Green Gallery in Diemen has officially begun. The project recently celebrated its ceremonial groundbreaking, marking an important milestone for the development.

Rising 70 metres above the city, NIMWEST will soon add 452 homes and 154 short‑stay apartments to the heart of Nijmegen, directly next to the central station. The development is set to become a landmark project — and we will contribute our expertise by providing sustainable heating and cooling through an ATES system.

Gouwhaven is being transformed from an industrial estate into a vibrant residential community of approximately 700 energy-efficient homes on the shores of Gouwzee.

Vaanster signs on for De Trappenberg. 1912, the year the distinctive main building was erected on the Crayloo estate. More than a century later, De Trappenberg is being transformed from a former rehabilitation centre into a living care community.

A total of 307 homes in the Moerwijk district of The Hague have been connected to a sustainable heating and cooling system, marking a concrete step toward the city’s goal of becoming climate‑neutral by 2040.

Last week we attended the official groundbreaking ceremony for District U in Vlaardingen, the transformation of the former Unilever site on the Nieuwe Maas river.

Standing 55 meters tall across 16 floors, this striking development will bring 60 luxury apartments to the banks of the Maas.

The first phase of the Kubus Noord development in Amsterdam-Noord has been delivered. Block B, part of the striking cube‑shaped complex in the redeveloped Waterlandplein neighbourhood, is now ready for residents to move in.

On October 28th, construction officially began on Het Nieuwe Noord in Hoofddorp. A transformation that goes far beyond bricks and mortar.

Veldhoven's Genderkwartier continues to expand. Two modern apartment buildings comprising 96 for-sale and rental homes, Symphonie and Suite, are taking shape on the former site of Zuidzorg's offices. Symphonie has recently hit a significant milestone.

We've just completed the central plant at Ensemble op de Bossebaan in Veldhoven that supplies heating and cooling to all apartments in the Aria di Ensemble and Ballata di Ensemble residential buildings—running entirely on outside air.
